I just joined this forum recently and sorry for writing in English because I don't understand a single word of French. I just happened to find the French fansite of X Japan, and the webmaster suggested that I should join the forum.
Little bit about myself;
I am from Japan, but I have lived in Canada (Vancouver) since 2006 for some reasons. I have been a fan of X Japan since 1990 or 1991, they were the first metal band that I liked. I am a huge metal fan (I am not a J-Rock fan in general, unfortunately. Especially I don't know much about new Japanese music), which I would have not be without knowing X when I was a kid. I like different melodic metal bands, I have even been to Germany several times for concerts/festivals. Oh, I need to tell you that I like a French power/progressive metal band called Manigance.
X's music is always special for me, their music is just unique, not like any other bands anywhere in the world. After they broke up and my interesnt in music expanded, I was kind of away from their music (I didn't stop listening to them - there were just too many bands that I paid attention as I got older!), but recently it's like I re-discovered my all-time old favorite band because of their reunion. I still have old magazines and stuff that many of people might be interested, but they are kept in my family's house in Japan...
I play music, and I have been singing in different bands for years. I also write lyrics, sometimes write music part (vocal melodies) too. Other than music, I like drawing/painting, travelling if I have money (Europe rocks!), reading books, or nothing particular...
